National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions

Certified Photography Instructor & Naturalist

As a Certified Photography Instructor and Naturalist with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions, I lead immersive travel experiences that blend visual storytelling with environmental education. Collaborating closely with scientists, explorers, and fellow educators, I guide guests through some of the planet’s most remote and awe-inspiring regions—from polar ice fields to temperate rainforests.

My role focuses on helping travelers at all skill levels elevate their photography while deepening their understanding of the natural world. I provide personalized instruction in the field, offer onboard photography talks, and lead image review sessions. As a naturalist, I also interpret complex ecosystems and wildlife behaviors, bringing context and wonder to every encounter.

Key Contributions:

  • Deliver dynamic, hands-on photography instruction aboard small expedition ships and in remote field settings.

  • Translate complex ecological and biological concepts into engaging, accessible narratives.

  • Collaborate with Expedition Leaders, Undersea Specialists, and National Geographic Experts to create seamless, enriching guest experiences.

  • Contribute photography and field notes for Daily Expedition Reports, marketing materials, and guest mementos.

  • Foster environmental stewardship and curiosity through visual storytelling and interpretation.

This role allows me to combine my passion for photography, nature, and education—empowering travelers to connect deeply with the places we explore and leave inspired to protect them.
